The first quarter of 2026

Hello Friends, Partners and Clients,

The first quarter of the year 2026 is soon coming to an end. For MindTech it has been an exciting period: new steps and collaborations have started. 

I started to collaborate with IPS Innovative Prison Systems in January 2026 regrding their offender management system Horus. Together, we are exploring how artificial intelligence can enable the next generation of functional components within HORUS 360 iOMS.

In February, I was appointed as a Director at Reimagining Criminal Justice, a UK-based community interest company working nationally and internationally at the intersection of criminal justice reform, corrections, offender management and rehabilitation.

I attended several international high-level meetings and events. First, ACA winter confrence in Long Beach, USA. Continuing with speaking at the International Research in Corrections Conference by ICPA in Auckland, New Zealand. Smart prison research internationally has shown good results with digitalisation supporting rehabilitation, communication, rights, and daily operations in prisons. 

Last but not least I spoke at a workshop by UNICRI on digital rehabilitation in prisons, in Windhoek, Namibia in March. Many countries are developing digital tools for rehabilitation and for example using Virtual Reality for skills learning and change of perspective.

I am truly honored to support the journey for better corrections ia my own consultancy and prison reform expertise. Looking forward to meeting you again this year!
