This page outlines MindTech’s key ethical commitments, including operational transparency and our Gender Equality Statement. As an independent consulting company, we prioritise accountability, clarity, and responsible professional practice.

Transparency Statement

As of 1 July 2025, I am no longer employed by the Finnish Prison and Probation Service. MindTech has not been involved in the procurement of the Smart Prison system used in Finnish prisons. Any future collaborations I may undertake with private-sector or public-sector organisations, NGOs, or private individuals will occur solely after my public-sector role and remain fully independent of any procurement processes.

Gender Equality Statement / Light Gender Equality Plan (2025–2027)

1. Governance & Scope

This Gender Equality Plan applies to all work carried out by MindTech. As a micro-enterprise with one employee, governance responsibilities, monitoring, and implementation rest with the
owner.


2. Commitment

The organisation is committed to gender equality, non-discrimination, and inclusiveness in all activities, partnerships, and communications. It adheres to EU and Finnish equality legislation and ethical research standards.


3. Recruitment & Collaboration

When cooperating with subcontractors, partners, or clients, the company expects similar equality and anti-harassment principles to be applied.


4. Work-life Balance & Culture

Flexible work arrangements and self-care practices are applied to maintain well-being and to ensure equal treatment in any future employment or subcontracting relationships.


5. Gender Dimension in Work

Projects and research activities will consider sex/gender aspects where relevant, and use inclusive language and imagery in outputs and dissemination.


6. Prevention of Harassment or Discrimination

Zero tolerance for harassment or discrimination. Any partner or client relationship showing such behaviour will be discontinued.


7. Review

This statement will be reviewed annually and updated if staff or project scope expands.
